2018年第三期（總第二十七期）“錢學(xué)森國(guó)際杰出科學(xué)家系列講座”將于5月23日在中科院自動(dòng)化研究所舉辦。本期講座邀請(qǐng)到加拿大滑鐵盧大學(xué)Amir Khajepour作題為“Next Generation of Vehicle Control Systems”的報(bào)告。報(bào)告將著眼于汽車控制系統(tǒng)的發(fā)展和目前汽車工業(yè)面臨的挑戰(zhàn)。隨著汽車通信、自主駕駛、傳感系統(tǒng)和人工智能的快速變化，要求在車輛控制系統(tǒng)中采取更全面的方法來(lái)處理未來(lái)和當(dāng)前新的發(fā)展。Amir Khajepour教授將介紹目前在機(jī)電車輛系統(tǒng)中用于開(kāi)發(fā)下一代車輛控制系統(tǒng)的路線圖。事例和道路試驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明，新的整體性方法可以提高車輛的安全性，減少開(kāi)發(fā)時(shí)間和誤差。
Amir Khajepour教授擔(dān)任車輛機(jī)電一體化領(lǐng)域的Tier-1 Canada Research Chair以及在加拿大自然科學(xué)與工程研究理事會(huì)（NSERC）、通用汽車（General Motors）擔(dān)任資深的整體車輛控制領(lǐng)域的研究主席。Amir Khajepour教授在幾個(gè)關(guān)鍵的多學(xué)科領(lǐng)域開(kāi)展了一個(gè)廣泛的研究計(jì)劃。他發(fā)表了超過(guò)450篇論文和會(huì)議出版物，8本專業(yè)書(shū)籍，并發(fā)表了許多主題演講。他是加拿大工程研究院（Engineering Institute of Canada）院士、美國(guó)機(jī)械工程師學(xué)會(huì)（American Society of Mechanical Engineering）會(huì)士和加拿大機(jī)械工程師學(xué)會(huì)（Canadian Society of Mechanical Engineering）會(huì)士，并擔(dān)任Journal of Mechatronics、International Journal of Vehicle Autonomous Systems、International Journal of Powertrain副主編。

三、報(bào)告摘要
In this talk, we'll look at the evolution of vehicle control systems and the challenges currently the automotive industry is facing due to the fast changing of vehicle communication, autonomy, sensing systems, and artificial intelligence. These changes call for a more holistic approach in vehicle control systems to deal with the current and new developments in future.
We introduce a road map currently used at the Mechatronic Vehicle Systems in developing the next generation of vehicle control systems. Examples and road test results are presented to show how the new holistic approach could improve vehicle safety and reduce development time and errors.

Prof. Amir Khajepour holds the Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Mechatronics Vehicle Systems and Senior NSERC/General Motors Industrial Research Chair in Holistic Vehicle Control. He has developed an extensive research program that applies his expertise in several key multidisciplinary areas. His research has resulted in over 25 patents and patents applications, several technology transfers, and start up companies. He has published more than 450 journal and conference publications, 8 books, and has given many invited and keynote speeches. He is a recipient of the Engineering Medal from the Professional Engineering Ontario, three best paper awards, a fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada, the American Society of Mechanical Engineering and the Canadian Society of Mechanical Engineering. He is Associate Editor of Journal of Mechatronics, the International Journal of Vehicle Autonomous Systems, and the International Journal of Powertrain.

錢學(xué)森先生是世界著名科學(xué)家，空氣動(dòng)力學(xué)家，中國(guó)載人航天奠基人，中國(guó)科學(xué)院和中國(guó)工程院院士。中國(guó)兩彈一星功勛獎(jiǎng)?wù)芦@得者，被譽(yù)為“中國(guó)航天之父”“中國(guó)導(dǎo)彈之父”“中國(guó)自動(dòng)化控制之父”和“火箭之王”。是中國(guó)自動(dòng)化學(xué)會(huì)第一、二任理事。為傳承、發(fā)揚(yáng)錢學(xué)森先生的偉大科學(xué)精神和學(xué)術(shù)思想方法，踐行錢學(xué)森創(chuàng)新教育思想，為信息、自動(dòng)化與智能科學(xué)以及系統(tǒng)工程領(lǐng)域的研究人員和專業(yè)技術(shù)人員提供了解領(lǐng)域前沿的窗口和學(xué)術(shù)交流的平臺(tái)，中國(guó)自動(dòng)化學(xué)會(huì)自2012年起，發(fā)起并主辦“錢學(xué)森國(guó)際杰出科學(xué)家系列講座”。
該講座聘請(qǐng)國(guó)內(nèi)外信息、自動(dòng)化與智能科學(xué)以及系統(tǒng)工程領(lǐng)域的知名學(xué)者、教授、學(xué)科帶頭人等開(kāi)設(shè)講壇，就當(dāng)前領(lǐng)域內(nèi)的研究熱點(diǎn)進(jìn)行廣泛的探索和交流，目前已經(jīng)深入各高校、科研院所、企事業(yè)單位，成為學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)員熟悉領(lǐng)域前沿、開(kāi)拓科研思路、分享科研成果、活躍科研氣氛的重要平臺(tái)。
